Real Ched Mac & Cheese

Mac & Cheese really is the ultimate comfort food. It's our go to savoury edible recipe. Perfect to see you through the winter months! 


½ pound macaroni Pasta
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 teaspoon salt

To make the cheese sauce

5 tablespoons canna-butter

½ cup all-purpose flour

2½ to 3 cups of warm milk

4 ounces grated mozzarella

8 ounces  of grated cheddar,

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 cup breadcrumbs

1 tablespoon canola oil, 


Pre Heat oven to 375 degrees.
1. Fill pan with water, oil and salt and bring to boil before adding the macaroni. Cook accordingly to directions on packet.
2. Drain the macaroni.
3. Melt canna-butter, adding flour, whisk for 5 minutes before adding the milk. Stir until thick and smooth.
4. Add cheese, salt and pepper.
5. Pour into 6-8 Buttered ramekins
6. In a bowl combine canola oil with breadcrumbs and more cheddar
7. Sprinkle on top of the ramekins.
8. Bake for 25 – 30 minutes until brown on top.
